1. Seller and service provider
The photography services, packages, vouchers and other products available in the online shop are offered by:
Valentina Cassano, self-employed professional
VAT number: 07691700962
Business address: Viale Lombardia 28D • 20089 • Rozzano (MI)

2. Scope
These terms govern purchases of photography services, vouchers, digital files, prints and other products through the Piccoli Ricordi online shop.
Each service’s features, price and inclusions are stated on its sales page. In the event of differences, the specific information shown to the client before purchase takes precedence.
By placing an order, the client declares that they have read and accepted these terms.
3. Package information
Each package may include an indicative duration, one or more locations, a specified number of digital photographs, use of clothing or accessories and other services stated on the purchase page.
Session duration is indicative and may vary according to the needs of the people being photographed, particularly children and newborns, environmental conditions and the organisation of the session.
Additional photographs, prints or editing beyond the package inclusions are charged separately, with the price communicated before purchase.
4. Formation of the contract
The client selects the service, payment option and, where available, their preferred date or time slot.
Before completing the order, the client can check and correct their details. The contract is formed when the client receives the order or booking confirmation.
The date is confirmed only upon receipt of the seller’s corresponding communication.
In the event of obvious pricing errors, subsequent unavailability or technical problems, the client will be contacted to agree an alternative or receive a refund of any amount paid.
5. Prices and payments
The applicable prices are those shown before the order is submitted. Any taxes, fees or additional costs are shown before confirmation.
Available options may include:
Book & pay now
The client pays in full online and receives the discount stated on the purchase page, currently 10% for packages offering this option.
Book now, pay later
The client books the session and pays in full on the day, using the agreed payment methods.
Gift voucher
The client purchases a voucher for the recipient to use within the stated period. Unless the voucher specifies otherwise, it is valid for 12 months from the purchase date.
Electronic payments are handled by external providers. The client must check that their details are correct and their chosen payment method is available.
6. Date, punctuality and session arrangements
The client must attend at the agreed place and time.
Late arrival may reduce the actual session duration where it cannot be extended without affecting later appointments. Significant lateness or failure to attend may make it impossible to provide the service.
The client must give advance notice of any special requirements, medical conditions relevant to the session, mobility limitations or needs relating to children, animals and locations.
A responsible adult must be present during sessions involving minors.
7. Rescheduling
The first request to change the date is free, provided reasonable notice is given and a new available date can be found.
Further changes are subject to the seller’s availability. Any costs will be communicated to the client and must be accepted before the new date is confirmed.
In the event of illness, weather unsuitable for an outdoor session, safety concerns or force majeure, the parties will agree a new date.
8. Voluntary cancellation and vouchers
Except where the law entitles the consumer to a refund, a client who voluntarily cancels a session may be offered a voucher for the amount paid, less 20% retained for administrative, organisational and transaction costs.
The voucher is valid for 12 months from its issue date and may be used subject to the availability and terms communicated.
This voluntary policy does not restrict mandatory consumer rights, including any statutory right of withdrawal or refund.
9. Right of withdrawal
Where the client is a consumer and the contract is concluded remotely, they may withdraw within fourteen days without giving a reason, in the circumstances and manner provided for by the Italian Consumer Code.
Requests may be sent to info@piccoliricordi.com, including the order details and an unequivocal statement of withdrawal.
If the client expressly requests that the service begin during the withdrawal period, they may be required to pay an amount proportionate to the services already provided.
The right of withdrawal may be excluded or cease in the circumstances provided for by law, for example for fully performed services following the consumer’s express request and acknowledgement of the loss of that right, digital content supplied immediately with the required consent, or other services falling within applicable statutory exceptions.
Any exclusion will be brought to the client’s attention before purchase and will not apply automatically unless the legal requirements are met.
10. Weather and force majeure
For outdoor sessions, the seller may propose rescheduling if weather conditions prevent safe working or technically suitable results.
Neither party is responsible for delays or inability to perform caused by unforeseeable events beyond their reasonable control, such as health emergencies, official restrictions, exceptional weather, accidents or sudden unavailability of the location.
Rescheduling will be the preferred solution. If the service becomes permanently impossible, statutory remedies will apply.
11. Photographic style and selection
The client acknowledges the artistic style shown in the Piccoli Ricordi portfolio.
Framing, lighting, composition, post-production and selection of technically suitable photographs are matters for the photographer’s professional judgement.
RAW files, duplicates, test shots and images excluded for technical reasons are not normally delivered unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Artistic judgement does not exclude the client’s right to a service meeting the promised features and required professional standards of care.
12. Delivery of photographs
The number of files included is stated on the purchased package’s page.
Delivery may take place through a private online gallery, download link or another agreed method.
Times stated for selection, editing and delivery are indicative unless an essential deadline has been expressly agreed.
The client must download and back up the files while the gallery is available. Permanent archive storage is not guaranteed.
13. Clothing, accessories and locations
Use of clothing, accessories, backdrops or set elements is subject to availability, sizes, hygiene requirements and suitability for the session.
The client is responsible for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence to items provided.
For sessions at the client’s home or other private locations, the client warrants that they are entitled to grant access and permission to use the location. Any necessary permits, admission fees or authorisations must be agreed in advance.
Travel included in the package is as stated on the relevant page. Any additional travel will be quoted separately.
14. Images, minors and permission to publish
Photographs are used to perform the contract and deliver the service to the client.
Publication in the portfolio, on the website, on social networks or in promotional materials takes place only with separate, optional authorisation.
For minors, the person giving authorisation declares that they have parental responsibility or another valid legal basis. Where more than one person has parental responsibility, the client undertakes to check that there are no objections to publication.
Refusing permission to publish does not change the price or restrict access to the purchased service.
15. Intellectual property and personal use
Copyright in the photographs remains with the photographer under applicable law.
The client receives the right to use the images for personal and family purposes, including sharing on personal social media profiles, unless different terms are communicated with the service.
Photographs may not be sold, licensed, used commercially or substantially altered without written permission.
16. Guarantees
The seller guarantees that the service will be provided with professional care and in accordance with the features described in the offer.
Physical products, prints and goods are covered by the statutory guarantee of conformity under the Italian Consumer Code.
In the event of a defect or non-conformity, the client must contact info@piccoliricordi.com, describing the problem and providing the order number. Remedies under applicable law will apply, including, where relevant, restoring conformity, replacement, a price reduction or a refund.
These guarantees do not cover differences caused by viewing on uncalibrated screens, prints made independently by the client or changes to files after delivery.
17. Liability
The seller is not liable for service disruptions attributable to the client, external providers beyond the seller’s control or force majeure.
Nothing limits liability where such a limitation is prohibited by law or affects mandatory consumer rights.
18. Complaints
Complaints and support requests may be sent to:
Valentina Cassano
Email: info@piccoliricordi.com
Telephone: +39 338 819 6851
Please include the client’s name, order number, session date and a description of the problem.
19. Data protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy & Cookie Policy published on the website, which is a separate document from these terms.
20. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Italian law.
Disputes involving a consumer fall within the jurisdiction of the court for the consumer’s place of residence or domicile, where required by applicable law.
The option of using legally recognised alternative dispute resolution bodies remains available.
21. Changes to these terms
The applicable terms are those accepted by the client when placing the order. Later updates do not change contracts already concluded, unless agreed by the parties or required by law.
